Dr. Gilboa has specialized in prosthetic dentistry for over 33 years. He graduated from Hebrew University Hadassah in Jerusalem in 1991 and completed a postgraduate program at Tel Aviv University, earning his prosthodontics specialization certification in 2000. He served in the prosthodontics department at Hadassah for 5 years and then spent 18 years with the prosthodontics department at Tel Aviv University. Since 2018, he has been the head of the postgraduate prosthetic dentistry program at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel.
Dr. Gilboa was the President of the Israel Prosthetic Society in 2008-9, Chairman of the Israel Specialist Forum from 2006 -9, and President of the Israel Gerodontic Society from 2000 to 2003. He is an active member of several professional organizations in Israel and Europe, including the European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) and the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) as an affiliate.
He has authored over 25 articles on prosthodontics. Dr Gilboa is frequently lecturing both in Israel and internationally on topics such as minimal intervention dentistry, geriatric dentistry and functional occlusion.
Dr. Gilboa also runs a private specialist practice in Natanya, Israel.
